Couples Skill Building

In lieu of couples counseling, Trillergy Mental Health offers a self-paced self-teach program for couples to learn new skills to strengthen communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intimacy. While the program is built for couples, individuals seeking to improve their relational skills would also greatly benefit. The course utilizes Gottman Relationship Therapy and other popular modalities through videos, couples exercises, and reflections.

In this conversation, the Gottmans and Steven discuss topics such as, how to repair from an affair, why dating apps are broken, the facts behind an awful sex life, and why to stop chasing the idea of 'the one'.

LGBTQIA+ Programming

Over 7% of the United States openly identifies as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender. That’s not including Nonbinary, Intersex, Asexual, and many other populations that identify as part of this community, or folks who are not yet out of the closet. This community has been steadily increasing over the past few years as awareness and acceptance grows.

Odds are you know someone who is Queer whether it is a friend or family member who just came out, someone you work with, a young person starting to identify with this community, or your workplace is striving to be more inclusive to this population.

If you are unfamiliar with the LGBTQIA+ community it may feel like a difficult subject that comes with embarrassment and shame when others tell you that you are not “woke” or the question you just asked was inappropriate. It’s okay if you don’t have all the answers yet, and the internet with all its information might be a little overwhelming. Where to even begin?

That’s why Trillergy Mental Health created these resources to help answer some common questions. It doesn’t have to be Pride Month for us to celebrate and support our LGBTQIA+ friends, family, and humankind.

The LGBTQIA+ Inclusivity Training is a self-paced self-teach program covering vocabulary, do's and don'ts, acceptance during the coming out process, and so much more including videos, reflection exercises, and quizzes to gauge comprehension. Whether you work with this community, belong to it, or have never interacted with this community before in your life, there is something to be gained for anyone wanting to grow in their understanding and inclusivity.
